It is possible for a foreign pharmacist to work in Canada as long as they meet the Canadian standards. Pharmacists in Canada need to be trained and qualified in order to be able to practice in Canada. There are only 6 pharmacy boards in Canada.

They include: PEBC, College of Practitioners of the Pharmaceutical Sciences in British Columbia (COPPS), College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, Royal College of Canada Pharmacy Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, Alberta College of Pharmacy, College of Pharmacists of Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick Pharmacy Regulatory Commission. Pharmacists in Canada have to earn their diploma from one of the six pharmacy boards.

They also have to have completed four years of training and passed the exam. In order to work in Canada as a pharmacist, a person needs to study in Canada for at least three years and then pass the exam. The pharmacist must also have a current registration with the country that they want to practice in.

Once all these steps have been met, a pharmacist in Canada can start practicing their profession in Canada. It is possible for a pharmacist in Canada to work at any pharmacy and also be licensed to practice in any province in Canada.
