Why was PUBG banned in India?

PUBG has been one of the most talked-about not only in the world but it also has a very strong fan base all over the world. But everything has not gone well then it has come under the eye of the government agencies. Government officials have banned it along with 117 other applications in the year Sept 2020. It was a big shock for the Indian gaming community and a big financial loss for the Battle Royale game. One such reason which has been given is data and security concerns that have been banned. The company had written back to the Government of India regarding the ban but it seems the government is not satisfied with their response. There was more concern about the Chinese connection, a company named Tencent. PUBG took firm steps and had removed Tencent from its list of entities at the time and made sure that no Chinese link is there with the app. But as per the Indian government, the removal was just a show. So the ban was not removed by the Indian government. Some more bans are likely to happen in the coming days but currently, no such list is available.

Mortal Kombat Hit First Nail In The Coffin

The reach of Mortal Kombat was enormous, it was a complete show-stealer.  Literally big or small all wanted to play that game. No other fighting game had such wonderful and excellent graphics as MK. The Street Fighter game was there but there was no one like MK. it had blood, blood, and more blood. The colored stuff uses to splatter on the screen when the player got hit or punched, or else after had to leave because of losing the match. Here the opponent could pull your head, that is such a pathetic thing. The parents were not happy with their concerns raised by them this happened in the early ’90s. US government had to intervene as the violence in that game had come under the eyes of the US government. Mortal kombat is still alive and kicking a more advanced version of it has come. There was a movie which was made on Mortal kombat.

Call Of Duty Has Taken It Other Level

It is one of the like and entertaining games that were available in the market. It had very good graphics which the gamers were crazy about. They felt like soldiers while playing the game. They wanted to get a higher position. This game is fast-paced and quick and here you along with your dependency on other teammates are very less. Team Deathmatch is the most popular model, people just want to kill. The advanced weapons used and their usage is very easy. They are more popular among school-going kids. It is that game that all the console gamers have. It is that type of game in which you play with your friends or other people you can shoot them, insult them. There is another side to it: you just enjoy the game, chat with each other and be a team player and try to win.

Conclusion:

There are always two sides of the coin game, they are made for entertainment. It depends on how you do it. We cannot compromise national security concerns for the love of the games. Country first then comes anything else. Parental control and guidance will help kids. What if you play games with your father or mother as a team player you make a team with them, plan a strategy, and try to implement it. Winning or losing the game would be secondary in this case. But the bond which it would create between the parents and the kid would unbreakable.
